Opened in the spring of 2005, the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) tells the story of the great region for which it is named. The MSV anchors a regional history museum complex that also includes the Glen Burnie Historic House and six acres of

spectacular gardens. The museum offers four galleries, a Museum Store, Reception Hall and Tea Room. With reservations the Tea Room serves lunch and high tea to groups and one hour guided tours of the gardens are also available. Tours of the historic house are docent-led, while museum and garden tours are self-guided. The perfect beginning to a Valley trip, a visit to Museum of the Shenandoah Valley ranges 2-4 hours, depending on the options selected. The museum is open year-round, the house and gardens, March through November. All are open Tuesday-Sunday. Ample bus parking is available.
